Rationality and Faith

Me: let us discuss the relationship between faith and Reason and if they meet somewhere. What if I assume Reason emanates from God just like light emanates from Sun. Let's explore this argument.
Friend: Reason emanates from your beliefs and if u believe in God it will emanate from your faith in God. Let's say you are a Christian. Your reasoning may give references to Christianity inherently without u even knowing it I mean my reasoning will be affected by my faith due to my belief in God
Me: I think you are referring to confirmatory bias as is called by psychologists, A bias will work both ways if you say no God can exist then you would assume that rationality and reason is a proof against the existence of the possibility of any God.And what about rationality in the physical world of physics?
Friend: What I perceive or observe from the environment... That's rationality
Me: What makes environment or matter rational, what gives the ability to perceive it as rational by the human mind.
ok let us discuss like this, Is observation a belief
Friend: No observation is not a belief it is a detached process. Belief+observation makes it rational
Me: What gives power and patience to observe?
Friend: Stillness or void.
Me: And what causes stillness And what causes movement in that stillness?
Friend: Both the processes require an external force.
Me: Which external force?
Friend: Probably God Or.. what?
Me: Probably, What else can we call it
Friend: True..  but how God chooses whom.to keep still and who should move, How his discretion can decide what's right for whom
Me:  let's explore together :)
